Tumwata Village

Once a paper mill, a site on the Willamette River in Oregon City, OR, has been reclaimed by the Confederate Tribes of Grand Ronde with plans to restore the falls to their natural state. Prior to renovation, an Oregon State University research team led by Research Assistant Professor Erzhou Che was granted the opportunity to document the variety of structure types on the site, which date back to up to 150 years old. This data will be used to train models to identify structural deterioration damage in old coastal buildings.
