Glacial Lake Flooding
In October 2023, a glacial lake in Sikkim, India, overflowed, which created deadly flash floods and ruined dams and water treatment plants in the area. Elliot Nichols, a 2023 RAPID Facility Graduate Scholar, traveled to the region and captured damage with a multispectral camera.
